Time to TooT our Horn

This months blog is going to focus on how we do things and also as a way to express a father’s pride.

If you don’t know, Vicars Built Rentals is a small family business. My son Joe runs the show and does it quite well. Besides building the products, he is the one who takes the phone calls and schedules pickup and delivery, something we get complimented on all the time. He gets back to a client’s inquiry quickly and makes sure all questions are answered fully.

Since we are a small rental company, the maximum amount of events we will do in a week is about five. What this means for the client is we can focus more on your event than maybe some of the bigger companies.

Another thing that I think makes us attractive is how we have structured ourselves as a setup and pickup only service. We come to your venue and setup our products the way you want them and then pick them up afterwards. The reason for this is twofold, this takes pressure off the client plus we are freaks when it comes to keeping our products in great shape.

Hopefully one of the biggest reasons for picking us will be our products themselves. Almost all of our products we have designed and built which gives us liberties most rental companies don’t have. When we design a product we go for functionality, elegance, beauty and the “Wow Factor”.

An example is our farmhouse tables. Unlike some of the other farmhouse tables out there, we went with the vintage turned legs. But the final touch, Joe’s finish, is a thing of beauty. He will sand, stain and poly until he gets his OCD satisfied.

If you look at our website and social media sites you will see many photos and sometimes videos of our products at events. We do this for two reasons. It gives the client a good look of what they are getting and possibly ideas. It also is a way for us to brag since we are very proud of the products we have made.

We have tried to make it as easy and enjoyable as possible to rent from us. From Joe’s friendly and responsive voice, easy website quotes and payment, flexible setup and pickup times to renting some of the most unique and beautiful products we could imagine.
