Dance Floor

Description

Since the dance floor becomes the center of attention for your guests and photographer, we decided to build one that stands out.

Our two tone dance floor is beautiful, unique and very photogenic. The border is white oak that we stained a light color to bring out the grain producing a beautiful contrast to the darker center planks. We did not stop at “Wow!”, but then added lights that shine down from the perimeter of the dance floor.

The LED lights can be set to one specific color or can slowly change colors or can change colors to the beat of the music. You can control this with a provided simple wireless remote control or your DJ can control the lights via DMX.

Since we did not want any unsightly hazardous wiring, the dance floor is wireless and operates on batteries.

The dance floor is 5 1/2″ high.

If used outside, the area must be level.

16 x 16 Option

The exact dimensions for the 16 x 16 option is 16′ 7 1/2″ x 15′ 7″, about 272 square feet which should handle about 50 to 60 dancers. If going outside, will take about 3 1/2 hours to setup, inside will take about 2 hours.

16 x 22 Option

The exact dimensions for the 16 x 22 option is 16′ 7 1/2″ x 22′ 6″, about 371 square feet which should handle about 70 to 80 dancers. If going outside, will take about 4 hours to setup, inside will take about 2 1/2 hours.

DMX specifics

An advantage to using DMX is that you can control the dance floor along with our up-lights with a DMX controller so all the lights are in sync. The dance floor uses wireless DMX (as does our up-lights), we can either supply your DJ with the proper transmitter for their DMX controller or can supply them with our own simple DMX wireless controller.
